Why did Palestine and Israel fight?

Citing Vox, the background of Israel's Palestinian conflict is that each party wants to establish a state on the same land. The reason for the Palestinians and Israel's war is that each of them wants to gain and control the same territory. What is contested between Palestine and Israel is the geographical area which lies between the Mediterranean Sea and the Jordan River. But this region is labeled Israel on the map today. 

The conflict resolution process that has been going on for decades has led to other overlapping conflicts. Like the relations between Palestine and Israel which are always hostile when in fact they are side by side, Israel occupies a military occupation that makes Palestinians suffer, and Palestinian militant groups terrorize Israelis. 

Conflict between Palestine and Israel have occurred when most of the Arab and Muslim regions were still part of the Ottoman Empire.

Zionism for Jews is to escape persecution and establish their own country in the land that is considered their ancestral land. A large number of Middle Eastern Jews also moved to Israel, either to avoid anti-Semitic violence or forcibly driven out.

CONCLUSION 
The conflict between Israel and the Arab state was initially preceded by the declaration of Israeli independence in 1948 after the British Mandate, which was then responded by the Arab state with its attack on Israel. Because the conflict between Israel and Palestine is getting sharper. Various improvement efforts have been made from Oslo to Two State Solutions. However, until now the conflict between Israel and Palestine has not yet found an appropriate resolution for both parties.
